Here we have for sale - a really cool 1960s ex-pub football table. Has been in careful storage for about 20 years.
Heavy wooden case made and finished in the trendy materials of the time - plywood and Formica. The (detachable) legs are solid steel - not like the flimsy wooden ones supplied on newer machines.
It is complete, and in working condition - but it does need a little TLC.
Some of the chromework has tarnished in storage.
A few of the plastic handles are chipped and split (older repairs with PVC tape) - but still usable.
The handles are still available, so could easily be replaced.
Playfield and players are really excellent
Top glass is clear and not noticably scratched at all
Its in usable condition
Please see the pictures - including one of the inside, which shows all the internal mechanisms are complete and clean.
The case is generally good, and has a few chips, marks, etc
All the joints are solid.
The coin slot is present - but not tested.
This would be perfect for a man cave or private club room - It has such a lot of character.
A restored one of these would fetch £1500 - so here is a bargain!
This is a good football table in good usable condition.
This item is complete with its 4 legs, balls, etc (will need nuts/bolts for the legs)
This is not a toy - it was built for exited football abuse in a pub - hence it is heavy - will take 2 or 3 people to lift it
The trolley it is sitting on in the pictures is NOT included in the sale.
