Here is a very nice Ercol refectory style table and four Ercol chairs.

The wood is oak - with a deep lustre which almost glows.

The table can extend easily to accomodate a larger group for special occasions - at Christmas for instance - 6 usually - but at a squeeze you might get up to 8 around this.

The chairs have a lovely detail design on the backs, 'fleur de lys' pattern, and the bases are solid - over which a cushion seat pad can be fitted by poppers underneath (pads not supplied).

Table and chairs have the Ercol labels/markings.

We have two more Ercol chairs - but they are of a slightly different design (stick back, so not fully matching). If you wouold like these with this set (to make a total of 6 chairs) - please ask.

This whole set is very good indeed - we can't find a mark on it worth mentioning. Although several decades old - the previous owners must have been fastidious in its care.

Those of you that know elderly Ercol will know that the wonderful workmanship employed in making these has caused them to become highly desirable. You only have to see these items in the wood to agree.

Bear in mind too - that these would have cost several thousands £ to buy new - and the quality shows.
