Here we have a beautiful late 19th century (Victorian) glass front dresser with 2 opening doors - top and bottom.
Rustic in appearance and well proportioned, it is a very nicely made piece of furniture, and is a testiment to the skills of its maker.
The wood appears to be old pine, and has a lovely lustre.
There are plate ribs on the upper shelves.
The two drawers have brass cup handles. Dovetail joints on drawers too
The doors have latches that work
All joints are very sound
Height (total) = 203cms (80 inches)
Width (base) = 107cms (42 inches)
Depth (base) = 47cms (18.5 inches)
Has a great patina (see the pictures).
Still has the original glass panels - the ripples in the glass reveal its age.
