A lovely pewter container produced for Liberty and Co. An Art Nouveau design by Charles Annesley Voysey at the turn of the 19/20th century.
Often described as a biscuit barrel, or sometimes as an ice bucket.
This is a genuine item - 'Tudric' - stamped 059 - with a sub-numeral 3.
Condition is fair considering its age. There are some distortions - but nothing that can't be rectified with skill and care. There are no repairs or re-solder work nywhere.
Height - base to lid tip id 7".
Main body diameter (not including handles) is 5".
