This is a really nice extending late mid-century dining or kitchen table - refectory style.
Looks like Ercol - but we can't find any labels - so selling as NOT Ercol, but Ercol style.
Purchased by the previous owner at great expense (over £1500), and not used.
Made from medium tone oak - shape is oblong with rounded ends, with smoothed edges and corners, plus 'refectory plank' legs with pegged cross stretcher.
There are nice detail touches - such as the half-wheel carving around the main section. This table is just style and character - it has a satin finish rather than gloss.
This is a nice clean item, and is certainly a high quality one too.
Table extends by pulling the end leaves apart, and exposing a centre section which hinges open. Very easy and quick to do.
This is not a new item - but you wouldn't think it (please study all the pictures).
Items other than the table shown in the pictures are not included in this sale. However, we do have some lovely chairs available that match this table very well.
Can be delivered economically anywhere in mainland UK for an additional payment - please enquire.
