Here we have for on offer for you - a very nice Art Deco period 4-tier barristers type faux stacking shelving/bookcase/display unit in excellent condition. The unit actually splits into 2 - not 4 as the original designer wanted you to think (hence 'faux').
Doors on two sections open outwards rather than up-and over.
Although old, this item is very good for its age - having a nice Art Deco style and detailing. Probably made around the mid-1930s. The maker is unknown.
Timber structure is in good condition, oak, and the unit breaks-down into two pieces - so very easy to transport.
At some time in the past, the unit has had woodworm in a couple of rear panel areas - but the whole item has been double-treated as a precaution.
The rear panel of one of the sections has a small area of damage, which we have highlighted in the pictures.
Please study the all pictures.
Great for storing books, CDs, DVDs, or as a display unit.
